1-Day Subway Pass (Fukuoka)

Matthew Baxter

The 1-Day Subway Pass (Fukuoka) allows unlimited use of the subway in Fukuoka for one day.

What does it cost?

Adults 620 yen, Children 310 yen

When can I use it?

Anytime.

Is it worth it?

It is better value for money than the Tourist Pass if just using the subways. If you are travelling to a few more more places you will start to make some savings, so this pass is good if you are in the city for just one day and want to cram a lot in. There are also discounts to some attractions and services just like the more expensive Tourist Pass.

What are the rules?

  • You cannot use 1-Day Subway Pass (Fukuoka) on normal trains or any buses.
  • Travel allowed between Meinohama and Fukuokakuko, Nakasu-kawabata and Kaizuka, and Hashimoto and Tenjin-minami.

Where can I buy it?

You can buy it from any ticket machine with a ‘One Day Pass card’ sign (English usually available) or over the counter in a subway station.

How do I use it?

Insert into ticket gates as per normal.
