JR Yokohama-Minatomirai Rail Pass

The Yokohama-Minatomirai Pass is great if you are going for a day trip to Yokohama. It provides one day of unlimited travel on the main train lines in Yokohama for tourist and shopping destinations.
What does it cost?
One Day Pass: Adults 520 yen, Children 260 yen.
When can I use it?
Anytime.
Is it worth it?
You will start to save money after a few uses of the pass. It’s great if you really want to ‘do’ Yokohama all in one day and don’t want to be rushed for time.
If you like lots of walking, then you could just use our map on the Yokohama page, and follow our recommended walking route. The free map at the Tourist Information Center in JR Yokohama station is also great.
What are the rules?
- Must be used within the Yokohama zone. On the Minatomirai line (subway) this is from Yokohama station to Motomachi-Chukagai, and on the Negishi line (JR line) this is from Yokohama station to Shin-Sugita.
- You cannot reserve seats.
Where can I buy it?
You can buy it at the ticket office of any JR station, for example in Yokohama station or at the Tourist Information Center in JR Yokohama station. They also have a great free map, which works well with this pass.
How do I use it?
Just show it to the station staff at the ticket gates and they will let you in.
